Why join? You too can be a part of the action and help save lives. The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary needs men and women like yourself to help by participating in one or more of the Auxiliary's programs. If you believe in supporting the needs of your community, this is the organization for you.

INCREASE YOUR SKILLS The Auxiliary and the Coast Guard can provide specialized training in all aspects of boating, leadership and administration. The training you receive will increase your awareness and you will enjoy new confidence as you teach fellow boaters valuable lessons in seamanship and related skills.

SUPPORT THE COAST GUARD The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary works directly with the Coast Guard in many phases of operation and administrative support. Wear the uniform of an Auxiliarist with pride knowing that the time you volunteer enables active-duty personnel to pursue their necessary law enforcement duties.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
